Dr. Charlene Solomon is a Canadian board-certified prosthodontist who strives to give her patients the best care and attention possible in a relaxing and caring environment. Her area of specialization, prosthodontics, allows her to deliver a broad range of restorative options to replace missing and restore compromised teeth. This may involve the use of crowns and/or bridges, cosmetic dentistry, complex multidisciplinary restorative care, dental implant therapy and dentures.
Dr. Solomon understands the needs for informative conversations around each individual’s treatment needs, and she helps her patients make sound decisions regarding their oral health.
Born and educated in Cape Town, South Africa, Dr. Solomon has completed two master’s degrees, including one in prosthodontics awarded in 2001. She and her family relocated to Winnipeg in 2009, as she joined the Restorative Department at the College of Dentistry at the University of Manitoba as an assistant professor. Dr. Solomon has successfully completed the Canadian National Dental Specialty Examinations and is a member of various professional organizations, including the Manitoba Dental Association, the Canadian Dental Association, the American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics and the American College of Prosthodontics.
